365 Moments of Grace

I’m so excited to share some exciting news today. This week I was blessed to be part of a book launch for a collaborative book with over 250 contributors. We each shared a story about grace in our lives to create 365 Moments of Grace.  This book is already ranked #1 on Amazon in Canada and the United States, so I can add international, bestselling author to my list of accomplishments!  What an amazing achievement!

The book’s editors, Jodi Chapman and Dan Teck, offer this definition of grace in the book:

Grace means something different to everyone. To us, grace is synonymous with miracles. It’s evidence of our connection to our soul and to this magical world that we live in. It’s our connection to God/Source. It’s both the intangible knowing that we aren’t ever really alone, mixed with the tangible signs that we experience every single day. We define grace as presents from the universe that let us know how loved we are, how loving our world is, and how connected we are to All That Is.

One of the things we love about this book is that it shows hundreds of ways that grace can show up in so many different types of experience: happy, poignant, miraculous, tragic, and even everyday experiences that reveal deeper dimensions of life. We each experience grace differently, yet each experience is equally magical.

In my piece (November 25 on page 343) I share how I was able to listen to my inner knowingness to help me in my own wellness journey. I believe that learning to listen to the messages your body is giving you is an important part of creating a healthy, balanced life. In addition to sharing my story in the book, I also contributed Listening to Your Body: A Self-Discovery Journal to the free gifts that you can access when you buy the book so readers can further explore on their own. Being part of the community of authors who contributed to this book was a special experience. They come from all backgrounds around the world, but they came together to participate in this project and to share their stories. The result is an inspiring, engaging and uplifting book about how we can each find grace in the small moments and big events in our lives. I’m enjoying the stories of this book in small bites. Each one offers a nugget of wisdom that takes time and reflection to appreciate.  Some make me smile, some make a lump in my throat, and some do both at the same time. I’ve often felt shivers while reading – a sign my inner self is sensing the truth of the piece on a another level. The book launched this week is the second in the series. I also contributed to the first book 365 Ways to Connect with Your Soul and I’m looking forward to being part of the third book in the series. Please share your story of grace in the comments.  I’ll be giving away a free copy of the book to one person who comments before July 2, 2016.
